An electric sauna at The Pickle Factory

The Bristol sauna is electric rather than wood-fired, which keeps it quiet, clean and city-friendly. We hold temperatures between 80 and 100 degrees, and water on the stones gives you the steam. It's a 6-person sauna, so sessions are small and sociable.

The Pickle Factory is a community centre in Easton, and the sauna sits in its gardens — walled, green and tucked away from the street.

Cold plunges in Bristol

We have three cold plunges set up with a chiller, pump and filter system, getting down to 5 degrees.

There's also an on-site cold shower, so you can move between hot and cold as many times as you like across your session.

What to expect on your visit

• Sessions are 60 minutes.
• Arrive 5 minutes early so you have time to change and get a short introduction from your host.
• Bring swimwear, two towels (one to sit on, one to dry off), a water bottle, and flip-flops or sandals if you like.
• Swimwear is worn — we don't run clothing-optional sessions here.
• Ages 8 and above are welcome. Everyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Well-behaved dogs are welcome, kept securely tied and not loose.

Getting here and parking

We're in the gardens of The Pickle Factory Community Centre in Easton, Bristol. Use the main Pickle Factory entrance.

• Free on-street parking is available in the surrounding area, though it can be limited.
• Bike racks are available on site.

Booking Bristol

Sessions are booked online. We also welcome drop-ins — you can book in person and pay by cash or card. You can also book the whole sauna out for a private group.
